Dr. Szalai Sarolta

Horses are a part of my life since I was little, I always knew that I wanted to work with them when I grow up. During my university studies I spent a lot of time at the Large Animal Clinic and in my free time I was working with different equine veterinarians to get as much experience as possible. After my 8th semester (in 2016) I had the possibility to spend 4 weeks at Milton Equine Hospital, Canada. I had the chance to look into the days of a clinic with a large number of cases, and besides that I could take part in surgeries and examinations of complex cases. Near graduation I decided that my main interest is field work, especially  orthopaedics, lameness examination. After graduation I spent 2 months as an intern at Lisbon University Equine Clinic, and after that I joined EmbryOM-VET Equine practice. I started working at Hungarian Equine Rehabilitation and Health Services in 2019 March.
